Well I've been running around a little crazy the last few days but I think I'm finally ready to go. Or as ready as I will ever be. It's been a few years since I've lived in another country, and I'm pretty sure I was a little more young and wild back then. I somehow managed to shove three months worth of clothes into a somewhat smallish pack. Dad aren't you proud?? I'm only bringing four pairs of shoes!!! And don't forget the yoga mat. How am I supposed to study a foreign language if my Chi isn't centered?

Hey all you Loyal Lorell Lackeys! Below are a couple of transmissions I intercepted from BigRo (i.e. Dad) by way of Lorell.
ReplyDeleteAfter a saschee thru the skies of Texas because of a strorm in Dallas, Lorell landed in Abileen, then later junped to Dallas and flew to Miami where she spent the night. She has arrived in G City at approximately 10:45 a.m. Denver time. She is pretty sure her bag is in never never land, but hopefully it beat her there. I spoke with her Spanish school contact briefly yesterday afternoon to let her know that Lorell was not going to make it last night but have been unable to make futher contact. As soon as Lorell finds her bag I am sure they will hook up. Stay tuned. Papa Gower, Cumminication Intermediary
As far as real-time communication with Lorell is concerned, here are the specifics:
She can receive incoming text for free but out going are 40 cents each after the first 50 per month. Her phone should work there but calls are $2 per minute so she will mostly be using e-mail and text.
Lorell was picked up by a representative ("a real sweet girl" according to a text from Sissy) about 20 minutes after she landed and was on her way to Antiqua. Bag did not make it but the Airlines promises to delivery it--the 4th most common lie in the universe. So after taking a wrong turn and ending up in Miami she is there and soon will be ruling the country I am sure. Papa
